WARRANTY
At The Superbikes we want you to receive your bike in the best condition it can for you to enjoy but sometimes things do happen that cannot be controlled, thus we offer a 6 months engine and gearbox Elite warranty for all bikes under 15 years old at date of registration up to the market value of your bike. Bikes that are over 15 years old at date of registration will come with all the same retail benefits but the Classic warranty which reduced to 3 months engine and gearbox warranty unless otherwise stated up to the market value of your bike. For example, classic or retro bikes may not be offered with a warranty due to the older age and nature of the bikes.
As a dealership committed to excellence, we want you to be delighted with every aspect of your new bike and this includes ensuring that riding costs are kept to a minimum - Whilst we have done our utmost to ensure that your bike is mechanically sound and any known faults have been rectified, unexpected failures can occur at any time
We are proud to work with our warranty provider, Warranty First, who will provide you with their warranty cover. You can then make multiple claims, up to the current value of your motorbike (based on industry prices) whilst your motorbike is covered by them. The protection is against Mechanical or Electrical breakdown (not Alarms) and provides you with peace of mind if any unforeseen issues arise with your motorcycle. This is not available for any of our Classic bikes and these may be covered seperately
Alarms are not covered under warranty under any circumstances. This is due to the nature of the design and the exposure of the alarms to the elements of the weather. Even top-end brands such as DataTool and Meta alarms can drain batteries or malfunction after being installed on the bike for some time. We do understand it reduces insurance premiums, and helps with safety, but as it’s a manufacturers design fault and a standard fitting, we can’t take any responsibility for any faults caused by any alarm system fitted including battery drain.
A motorcycle warranty can provide important peace of mind for owners. At The Superbikes Ltd you will receive the manufacturers balance of warranty or we will provide provide a warranty on bikes under 15 years old at date of registration if less than 6 months left on that warranty.
